I had a fantastic stay at this luxury hotel just outside the Old Town. The location was perfect, with the beach and nearby castle within walking distance. The service at this hotel was top-notch, with room service and car hire available. The room was spacious and comfortable, with amenities like air conditioning and a mini-bar. The free Wi-Fi in the rooms was a welcome bonus, and I enjoyed relaxing on the terrace with a cup of tea from the in-room facilities.

I would recommend this hotel to all.

The staff were so accomodating, they organised bike hire for us,called the car hire company for us when there was a problem with our car, opened the gym and spa when we were the only guests, offered to bring us drinks up to the terrace when the bar was actually closed, the list is endless. The hotel is only a short walk to the old town. There is underground parking which is great if you are travelling by car and we were in the old part of the hotel, in a room with a vaulted ceiling. It was very relaxing and romantic.

There is no room service and even though the hotel is gleaming and immaculate the actual road it is on is a little run down

Despite being located in a back street, this hidden gem is just a short walk away from the main castle area of Otranto. Our room, No.1, was full of character with a split-level layout that added to the unique experience. The ancient stone staircase leading to the bathroom and dressing area added a touch of history. The room itself was comfortable, well-appointed, and had all the amenities we needed. The breakfast served in the first-floor restaurant was hearty and the staff were friendly and entertaining. We truly felt welcomed and cared for during our stay. we highly recommend Hotel San Giuseppe Dimora Storica for a delightful and memorable stay in the beautiful town of Otranto.

The location is superb, just a short stroll from the historical center, the nearby castle, and the beach. The hotel offers a wide range of amenities and services that made our stay even better. The room was stylish, clean, and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities like air conditioning, a mini-bar, and a safe. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure our needs were met. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with a variety of freshly homemade delicacies. We even had access to a spa and wellness center, which was a great added bonus. this place exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting this area.

The room was a little bit stuffy (no windows, only the door at the entrance was exposed to open air) and not well noise insulated (we could hear a lot about the neighbour rooms).

Very small room on the third floor with only one small window in the door, not well ventilated either ((try upgrading when your room is on the third). It seems the other floors offer more comfortable rooms. We asked the desk staff for two advices 1. good beach (not to many tourists 2. good place to eat. 1. beach was very crowded and not as suggested 2. restaurant: nobody eating at prime time, while other restaurants had queues.

We had an amazing stay in a hotel that was a stone's throw away from a magnificent castle! It was ideal for exploring the Old Town of this beautiful city and even the beach was nearby. The room was spotlessly clean, and the bathroom was big enough to accommodate all our needs. The breakfast was delightful, and the staff were always helpful. Plus, we enjoyed the cozy terrace and lounge which was a lovely spot to unwind. We even got a great rate for nearby parking.

There was no window in the room which made it a bit stuffy, but that didn’t really affect our stay!

The hotel was well-located, with several tourist attractions and restaurants within walking distance. The rooftop terrace offered stunning views and a perfect spot for breakfast. The staff were helpful and attentive throughout our stay, providing excellent service.

The air conditioning system in the room was not effective enough to cool the room down in hotter temperatures. The plastic cups for drinking were not the most enjoyable to use, but that was only a minor issue.

The room we were assigned to, while comfortable and well-equipped, lacked the privacy we expected from a suite. The small patio area outside the room was overlooked by everyone entering or exiting the hotel.

The air conditioning in our room was subpar and didn't keep us cool enough on particularly hot days. the quality of some of the amenities - such as the flimsy plastic cups and hard beds - left something to be desired.
